Kanyashree Prakalpa (KP) is a scheme of development undertaken by the Government of West Bengal to improve the life and status of girls from underprivileged families so that they may pursue higher studies. To avail the incentive of this scheme, the candidate needs to submit the following documents along with the form:

1. Passport-size photo

2. Age proof certificate

3. Certificate regarding marital status

4. Income certificate

On the basis of recommendation of the Head of the Institution, a student can avail Rs. 25,000 at a time.
