Admission Procedure

The college offers Semester-wise Four-year B.A./B.Sc. Honours Courses and Three-year B.A./B.Sc. Multidisciplinary courses of studies under Curriculum and Credit Framework (CCF-2022) under University of Calcutta.

Students passed 10+2 level board examinations from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE), ISC, CBSE, and different boards of other states in India (as approved by the University of Calcutta) are eligible for admission to this college following the eligibility criteria mentioned. College shall not be liable for admission/ranking in the Merit List in case your previous 10+2 board is not approved by the University of Calcutta.

Application for the admission to Semester-wise Four-year B.A./B.Sc. Honours Courses and Three-year B.A./B.Sc. Multidisciplinary courses of studies under Curriculum and Credit Framework (CCF-2022) for the session 2023-24 shall be online (Admission site: https://ug.collegeadmission.in/VCFW ).

• Admission will be strictly on the Merit Basis.

• After publication of the Merit List, admission will be done directly to the college according to the merit list and intake. Date of admission for the selected Candidates will be notified later.

• All admissions are provisional subject to approval of the Calcutta University.

How To Apply Online?

1. Access any computer with internet connection, at home or any Internet Café.

2. Read carefully the Admission Brochure before filling up the application form.

3. Log on to ug.collegeadmission.in/VCFW and follow the instructions before filling up application form.

2. Candidate's Signature [Size upto 50 KB] in jpeg format.

Scanned documents Required during Taking Admission through Online

1. H.S. /I.S.C./ C.B.S.E./equivalent (10+2 Class) Marksheet [Size upto 150 KB] in jpeg format.

2. Admit Card/Certificate of Madhyamik or Equivalent examination/Birth Certificate for Age proof document [Size upto 150 KB] in jpeg format.

3. SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B for Caste Certificate Document (if any) [Size upto 100 KB] in jpeg format.

4. Person with Disabilities (P.W.D.) Certificate (if any) [Size upto 100 KB] in jpeg format.

5. B.P.L. Certificate (if any) [Size upto 100 KB] in jpeg format.

6. Registration Certificate (if any, for already registered candidates) [Size upto 100 KB] in jpeg format.

Documents Required during Admission

The date of commencement of classes will be notified in due course.Candidates having taken admission through online process must have to produce the following documents at the time of reporting for the classes

1. Filled in application form [printout of the form submitted online] along with online payment receipt and the online payment receipt of the admission.

2. All documents (in original) like Marksheets, Admit card for H.S. or equivalent examination, SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/Differently Abled (PH) certificate (if applicable), document showing Date of Birth, B.P.L. certificate, C.U. Registration Certificate (those who have already registered students of CU) etc.

3. Two Recent stamp size color photographs.

Verification of all the documents, uploaded online during application, will be done when the students report for the classes in due course. Admission will be cancelled if the documents are found not in conformity with the declaration in the forms submitted online
