The College offers Semester-wise Three year B.A./B.Sc. Honours and General Courses of studies under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) under the affiliation University of Calcutta.
Students passed 10+2 level board examinations from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE), ISC, CBSE, and different boards of other states in India (as approved by the University of Calcutta) are eligible for admission to this college following the eligibility criteria mentioned. College shall not be liable for admission/ranking in the Merit List in case your previous 10+2 board is not approved by the University of Calcutta.
Application for the admission to Semester-wise Three year B.A/B.Sc in Hounours and General courses of studies under CBCS for the session 2019-2020 shall be online (admission site: www.vcfwadmission.com) from May 28, 2019.
Application will not be considered without payment of Application fees (Rs. 300 for each application) within the stipulated deadline.
Admission will be strictly on the Merit Basis.
After publication of the Merit List, admission will be done directly to the college according to the merit list and intake. Date of admission for the selected Candidates will be notified later.
All admissions are provisional subject to approval of the Calcutta University.

The date of commencement of classes will be notified in due course.Candidates having taken admission through online process must have to produce the following documents at the time of reporting for the classes
Filled in application form [printout of the form submitted online] along with online payment receipt and the online payment receipt of the admission.
All documents (in original) like Marksheets, Admit card for H.S. or equivalent examination, SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/Differently Abled (PH) certificate (if applicable), document showing Date of Birth, B.P.L. certificate, C.U. Registration Certificate (those who have already registered students of CU) etc.

Verification of all the documents, uploaded online during application, will be done when the students report for the classes in due course. Admission will be cancelled if the documents are found not in conformity with the declaration in the forms submitted online
