There are College prizes of different categories.
These are awarded on the basis of performance in examinations

1. Prabhabati Debi Memorial Prize to be awarded to the student who completes Bengali Honours course with highest marks.

2. Narendra Kumar Mukherjee Memorial Prize to be awarded to the student who completes Philosophy course with highest marks.

3. Shyamal Kumar Chakravorty Memorial Prize to be awarded to the best student (alternatively to Science and Arts).

4. Shyamal Kumar Chakravorty Memorial Prize to be awarded to the student who completes Political Science Hons. with highest marks.

5. Geographical Association Prize (Two Prizes) to be awarded to the student who secures highest marks in Geography Honours and Geography General in University Examinations.

6. Abani Kumar Bannerjee Medal to be awarded to the student who secures highest marks in Physics Honours in University Examinations.

7. Sudhir Kumar Bose Memorial Medal to be awarded to the best student of Degree Honours (Alernatively to Science and Arts).

8. Dibyendu Roychowdhury Memorial Prize to be awarded to the best student securing highest marks in Geography Honours in University Examination subject to minimum qualifying marks for Post Graduate studies. It should be ensured that the candidate pursues Post Graduate studies.

9. Adhiresh Dey Memorial award to be awarded to a candidate securing highest marks in Zoology Honours in University Examination.

10. Jitendra Memorial Prize to be awarded to a candidate securing highest marks in Science General (Physical Science and Bio Science alternatively).

11. Sukumar Mookerjee Memorial Gold Medal for the best result in Philosophy Honours in Calcutta University Examination.

12. Preeti Sarkhel Memorial Award to be awarded to

    • A student securing highest marks in Geography Honours in the Part I Examination of Calcutta University.

    • A student securing highest marks in Geography Honours in the Part II Examination of Calcutta University.

13. Endowment Fund created by Alumni Association of Vidyasagar College for Women for awarding two prizes to two best students one in Arts and the other in Science every year.

14. Jayasri Sen Memorial Award for two students securing highest marks in Bio (General) Examinations.

15. Santi Rani Roy Memorial Award for the student securing highest marks in Philosophy in University Examination.
