Courses Offered

The college offers Semester-wise Four-year B.A./B.Sc. Honours Courses and Three-year B.A./B.Sc. Multidisciplinary courses of studies under Curriculum and Credit Framework (CCF-2022) under University of Calcutta, a list of which along with the subject combinations is given below. Following points are to be noted:

  • For each Honours course (Major) two minor subjects must have to be taken as subject combination.
  • For each Multidisciplinary course three subjects must have to be taken as subject combination.
  • All students shall have to study 4 Ability Enhancement Courses (AEC) of 2 credits each (one in each of the first 4 semesters). There will be a compulsory AEC, named compulsory English which shall be studied in the 1st and 2nd semesters and there will be an optional AEC (MIL/ Alt. Eng) to be studied in the 3rd & 4th semesters. MIL includes Bengali/Hindi.
