The UGC Planning Board of the College, comprising of the teacher-members with the Principal/Secretary, was formed by the Governing Body of the College on the 2013. The Committee has been endowed with the responsibility of keeping the College abreast of the latest notifications and circulars published by the UGC in the UGC-Website and to make recommendations after duly considering the afore-mentioned. The Committee also oversees the activities of its allied committees- The Anti-Ragging Committee, Internal Complaint Cell, The Canteen Committee, The Grievance Redressal Committee, The Remedial Coaching Committee and the Entry-to-services Committee and ensures that all their activities are strictly in tandem with the latest guidelines prescribed by the UGC. The UGC Planning Board holds meetings at regular intervals to assess the progress made by the allied committees and also provides suggestions to them, as and when need for the same arises.
The Committee also strongly encourages research activities among faculties and oversees proper and timely submission of all Minor Research and Major Research Projects. UGC S/B Account is maintained with the Bank of Baroda, College Street Branch. Account is audited on a regular basis.
