A Research Committee, represented both by the teachers of the Science departments and those of the Humanities, has been formed to deal with UGC-related research projects. The Research Committee motivates the teachers to apply for different research projects sanctioned by the UGC and other funding agencies. The Committee provides all support required by faculties pursuing research: full autonomy is given to the Principal researcher for smooth conduct of the research project: funds sanctioned by the different agencies are released without delay as and when required by the researcher: the College provides infrastructural facilities like library, laboratory, computer and Internet facilities to faculty members to pursue research activities. Necessary arrangements are made to enable teachers to avail of FIP of the UGC and other leave for their research as per statutory provisions.
The Research Committee is pleased to announce that five faculty members have been granted Minor Research Projects in the academic year 2016-17 and one faculty member has submitted her Minor Research Project.
