Every year the students arrange Freshers' Welcome, College Social, Teachers' Day (5th September), Bhasa Dibas (21st February), Rabindra-Najrul Jayanti, Birth Anniversary of Pt. Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar (26th September) and Students' Farewell programs. In these programs, performances are made both by the students and staff of the college as well as invited artists. These programs generally include music (both vocal and instrumental) and songs, recitations, dance (both classical and folk) in the Main and Second Campus of the college as well as in rented auditoriums.

In addition to the above the students participate in debates, extempore, seminars and speeches on various themes both related to their subjects and contemporary issues.

The students contribute significantly in the college magazine published regularly, general wall magazines as well as magazines of different departments.
