How do I get a Library card?
If you are a faculty memebers or students of Vidyasagar College for Women, You can register yourself with your institutional ID proof. You have to submit one pass port size coloured photograh at registration desk of Central Library.

What if I lost my library card?
You are responsible for all items checked out. Students have to submit 'No Dues' from department to get duplicate library cards.

Are there computers for students to use in the Library?
Yes. Students can access computers at central library and seminar library.

Can I access Databases from off campus?
Yes. You may register yourself and collect your Login ID and Password from Librarian.

When is the Library open?
Library Hour : 8 AM To 2 PM (Monday to Saturday)

How do I print from computers in the Library?
Printing facility is available from computers in Central Library. Charges are Rs.1/- per page for black & white printouts and you have to pay for this in cash.

Do you have photocopiers? What forms of payment can I make for copies?
Yes. You may pay in cash at central library.

Can I check out periodicals (magazines, newspapers, or journals)?
No. Periodicals are available in central library reading room for reading purpose only.

Can I borrow CD/DVD from the Library?
No. CD/DVD cannot be checked out.

Where do I pay any Library fines?
You may pay your library fine at central Library. You may pay with cash.
